This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Village Information System (SID) in Pampang Village, Gunungkidul Regency, as an effort to improve the quality of public services and enhance community participation. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, documentation, and observation of SID utilization at the village level. The findings indicate that SID has contributed significantly to improving administrative efficiency, transparency of village governance, and accessibility of information for the community. Moreover, SID has encouraged greater community involvement in decision-making processes and development programs. However, challenges remain in terms of human resource capacity, technological infrastructure, and digital literacy among villagers. This study highlights the importance of strengthening training, technical support, and community engagement strategies to maximize the benefits of SID. The results provide empirical evidence of how digital governance tools can support participatory development in rural areas and serve as a reference for other villages in Indonesia seeking to adopt similar systems
