SOCIALIZATION OF PERMENDIKTISAINTEK NO. 39 OF 2025 ON HIGHER EDUCATION QUALITY ASSURANCE

Abstract

The socialization of Permendiktisaintek No. 39 of 2025 on higher education quality assurance was conducted as a community service activity at Universitas Pat Petulai, Rejang Lebong, on December 15, 2025. This initiative aimed to enhance stakeholders’ understanding of the regulation and strengthen institutional readiness in implementing quality assurance practices. The activity involved lecturers, administrative staff, and student representatives from vocational higher education institutions. Through seminars, workshops, group discussions, case studies, and simulations, participants gained deeper insights into the regulation’s objectives, scope, and requirements. The results revealed improved comprehension of quality assurance standards, increased awareness of roles and responsibilities, identification of key challenges such as limited resources and training, and the formulation of collaborative solutions including the establishment of internal quality assurance teams and the integration of digital monitoring tools. The participatory approach ensured that the strategies developed were contextually relevant to local institutional conditions. Overall, the activity demonstrated that quality assurance is not merely a compliance requirement but a strategic instrument to enhance academic credibility, governance, and student learning outcomes in vocational higher education.
